We focus on partnerships that are flexible, innovative and profitable. Whatever the form of business relationship, we accommodate the degree of involvement that meets the needs of our physician partners.

DCA recognizes that the dynamics of each opportunity are unique. We are flexible regarding facility ownership percentage, as well as financing. We work with physicians to build a business structure that is mutually beneficial. In today's healthcare environment, it is imperative that both clinical and financial implications are considered in any decision-making process. To that end, DCA encourages alliances that include physician equity participation. We believe this environment enables our partners to make the best possible decisions.

We are an independent provider of renal care. We are not a manufacturer of dialysis supplies. Our physicians have the final say in all decisions impacting patient care, including choices of equipment, products, and pharmaceuticals. DCA works together with its physicians to develop guidelines and protocols that are cost-effective and improve clinical outcomes. As our partners, we believe that physicians should have input and participation in every major decision made about our facilities, including all aspects of design, staffing and planning.

Our management is largely decentralized, allowing for greater control where it matters most - locally. Centralization is used only when the greatest business management efficiencies are possible, such as with human resources administration and purchasing. DCA provides the tools, highly trained staff and comprehensive renal care services that enable the nephrologist to focus on what's most important - caring for patients.
